Company
History

Sylvia
Wells is an artist that has been designing clothing
since
she was four years old. Her first clothes were crudely
fashioned from family scraps for neighborhood
dolls.
In
1970 she founded a company to make clothing and home
decor items on both a retail and wholesale scale. That was
so successful that she later added vintage fashion jewelry
to her line. The company has grown into one of the most
promising fashion jewelry companies offering vintage style
clothing, jewelry and accessories across the United States
and is working on global sales. The jewelry encompasses the
use of buttons, crystals, cameos, ribbons, lace and stones
from the US, Austria, Italy, and Czechoslovakia.
In
1995 the company outgrew their original facilities and moved
their production and offices to a research park in
Beavercreek, Ohio. In 1997 her daughter joined the company
as manager and has guided the company to even greater
success. On a more current note they are developing a
wholesale web site and increasing wholesale shows and
representation.
